I’m Liisa Mäkinen, a photographer Based in Tampere, Finland, with extensive experience in commercial photography and self-initiated projects. I have been working professionally since 2010, collaborating with a wide range of clients and adapting to different contexts and visual needs.
I’m based in the Tampere region, Finland, and work both locally and on commissioned projects elsewhere. Alongside commissioned work, I develop long-term artistic projects. In addition to my photography practice, I work as an exhibition coordinator and a photo festival producer, which gives me a broad understanding of how images function across platforms and purposes.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from Turku Arts Academy (2010) and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from Humak University of Applied Sciences (2023). I’m open to new commissions and happy to work together to explore the best solutions for your visual needs.
